Initial Consultation

Your first session with Karolina will last 90 minutes and will include an acupuncture treatment. During this time, a comprehensive personal and medical history will be gathered to support an effective diagnosis and create a bespoke treatment plan tailored specifically to your needs.

The acupuncture needles are inserted for just a second or two, or you may be left to rest for a while before they are removed. The needles are so fine that most people don’t feel them being inserted. It’s common to experience a mild tingle or dull ache as adjustments are made, and many patients report feeling deeply relaxed during the treatment.

Subsequent Treatments

After your initial session, subsequent treatments will last 60 minutes. These sessions may include acupuncture along with complementary techniques such as:

  • Cupping
  • Gua Sha
  • Moxa

Additionally, Karolina will provide supportive exercises, lifestyle advice, and mindful practices to enhance your overall well-being.

How Many Sessions?

Karolina collaborates with you to establish your health goals and determine the appropriate duration and frequency of treatment. Weekly sessions are typical to start, usually lasting for five or six treatments, with frequency reducing as your body responds. Together, you’ll find the best approach to achieve your desired outcomes.
